ah good times. i've been to just about every cosplay event they had and i've won in the top 3 a few times. i'm starting to get a good collection of costumes. there's the Haruhi one, Sloth, Winry, Eve, a Soul Reaper, Mikuru...next time i'm dressing up as Miku Hatsune! it's like i tell DW, if you know what you need, you can make the costume yourself. it's easier and a heck more cheaper than online!

you dont have to make them by hand, you can throw a few things together. thats what i've done a few times. just buy stuff from wal-mart or something and you're good to go.

Suncoast had an event just yesterday...and it was AWESOME!! took pics with people, got tackled, and won in the top 3 (yay! ). but i dont go just to win, i go to have fun. its like i said before, cosplay events are like early Halloween. everyone can have fun!

I've never actually gone out in my cosplay. I have an Enma Ai cosplay, but it's a really cheapy one I bought from Milanoo.com. I'm working on a Fujioka Haruhi cosplay right now, though.

Fufufu~! I got the fabric for my cosplay. I'll probably start it on Monday (cleaning all weekend for the appraisal on Tuesday (*´ο`*)=3 はふぅん), but I still need to buy a tie and some pants and some shoes and maybe circle lenses and a wig. -has very unmanageable hair-

I'm sorry o.o *tilts head* who did you say you were cosplaying as? OH and I'm gonna get a Rena costume one day >> or Mion and Shion from Higurashi~

Thats why i like to go as people who have the same hair i do or something similer.^^

I get to start on my cosplay jacket tomorrow~ ouo;

the way i see it, it doesnt have to look exactly like it, i think it looks good so who cares? but thats just my opinion. the only wig i have is the one for my Miku costume. the only real problem i have is deciding who to dress up as.

your favorite character in an anime

I usually start by personality of a character--I'm a good actress to the point of being accused of being a psychopath, so that's normally not a problem. Then I go by what I look like--I'm a bit chubby, so I won't be going as Black Rock Shooter or Yoko any time soon. And then, of course, complexity--there's no way I'm making a Samus Aran cosplay, but I'm fine with any sort of seifuku.

I only have my Enma Ai wig, but it's really so crappy that I'd never wear it out. Hint--don't buy wigs from Milanoo.com. I suggest Amphigory.com--they're an amazing deal and are pretty high quality, especially for cosplay wigs.
