Your Worst Fears. Literally.

Main thing Spiders *squeals*
losing my husband or my kids wow im old
heights/falling to my death
drowning...but yea I can swim pretty good
car crash...i've been in a few and gotten lucky
I'm sure there is more...but.....uuummmm...brain fart I'll think of them later

The five things I fear the most:

5) Getting disabled so that other people have to help me do everything
4) Being eaten alive by sharks, gators, or anything else with big sharp teeth
3) Being betrayed by my closest friend
2) Losing control over myself (such as being possessed by an evil spirit or by use of drugs)
1) My number one fear will remain a mystery, because it is a phobia. Even the thought of it right now makes me shiver....


I know this is an old topic but I noticed I never posted my list so I hope no one minds...

I've said my fears before, but I'll list others that I have had thoughts of.
5.) Becoming blind, as I would never be able to see the beautiful eyes of my loved ones, and as much as I value color and such, to lose that would be mentally devestating.
4.) To be lost or abandonded. I'm sick of being alone, and I hate having to be the only one too, I wouldn't dare stand by myself if I could stand amongst another that I love. As much of a solitary person I am when it comes to bad behavior, I would cry to be the last alive.
4/3.) This is sorta like 4, but, to be the last to die amongst my friends/family. It is selfish, yes I know, but I'd rather watch others go, having lived their full happy lives... If I died before them, my soul couldn't rest, If Kat ever got hurt, Jenny ever been harmed, Jay, Kazu, Johen, anyone, Selena, Nii Nii, if anyone I really cared about where to die shortlived it'd kill me. I don't want to be the last of us, not again.
3.) I'm afraid of being the reason someone is hurting, dying, or in some shape or form of pain. I am afraid of being the monster in someones closet, the thing they'd fear most. I am a person of love and care, but also great terror, and needless to say, I love those I love, deeply.
2.) Saying goodbye, for good. I don't want to ever vanish from someone, I don't want to have to leave them, knowing I can never turn back, never see them again, hear them, feel them, hold them, ever again.
1.) My number one fear at the moment, would be for someone to find out about my.. secret. Not just any secret, but.. the one that could destroy someones life, someones heart, that could turn me from a person, into a sympathy object.

So understand me when I say this,
I do not fear simple things like dying, spiders, sharks, drowning, heights or even being hurt. I have fears that are so... weird I guess.

Wow... that certainly is a detailed list. Maybe I'll say some more myself.

Losing my sight and going blind is something I guess I would hate, maybe not fear, but hate. And it's my bad luck I have a chance it could happen to me early on, but my way of thinking about those things is to deal with those problems if or when they happen.

The things about dying before others or hurting them I can understand. Those I think are normal fears and not weird at all. Like you as well I think I would like to be the last to die before my friends and loved ones, but I know that won't happen. I will see some of them die before I do and although I will miss them, that is just how it'll happen, so I've already prepared myself for it, and therefore I don't really fear it.

As a child I used to have horrible fears of my mother dying or leaving me. Also my brother and sister dying. I used to be really afraid of strangers too. But now it seems I have outgrown those fears. I used to be really afraid of dying, myself. However, now I don't seem to fear it at all. It's strange how someone's feelings can change over time after you have certain experiences in life. But that's how things work I guess.

As far as the being alone, I used to fear that too, and I understand it very well. But I seem to have outgrown that as well. In fact now, I think I would rather die alone than with someone...because it would hurt me to see them cry in front of me and try to save me with sirens going off etc. I think I would rather die in solitude and enjoy my last minutes of peace in this life thinking about what I did with my time here and how I helped people and made a difference.

my list hasn't changed that much but i don't know if i put losing my friends or family so i'm putting that one now.
