What anime made you cry?

Here's another question. Has there been any anime that made you cry for real?

Pettie princess Yucie......and negima at Asuna funeral.....and clannad after story..and Air

I haven't seen Pettie Princess Yucie or Negima yet. I agree that Clannad and Air were heart moving.

I shed tears at the ending of Chrno Crusade when they watched the sunrise as their time ran out before the end of their lives.

The same with the ending of Gungrave when the two main characters died together after they made up.

I cried when Shirley died in Season 2 of Code Geass. That was just way too sad.


There are some others that made me cry or feel really sad but those 3 are the ones I remember the most I guess.

yeah well pettie Princess Yucie made me cry so much....i still cry when i watch it againTT^TT and Negima it was really sad at that one part and when i was watching it Shiori walked in and asked what i was doing and i was like "TT^TT n-nothing~~TT^TT" and she laughed at me ^^"

I'm going to watch both of those one of these days. Yeah it can seem strange when someone else walks in and your crying. Have you ever caught Shiori crying while watching an anime?

no she watches everything i do at least once but she never cries

Air, Elfen Lied and some parts of Air Gear. But, I haven't finished clannad AS but I have cried during it TT~TT

see Air is always one of the ones that makes you cry

Yeah Air is a sad one.

I haven't seen Elfen Lied yet either. Argh....so many anime to watch and not enough time.
