What...is...going on in here? confused

Opens the door and looks around.... the lights go out. Kazu feels something wet touch his hand from behind. A cold shiver goes down his spine. Fear freezes his body like ice. His eyes are trying to adjust to the darkness when he works up the courage to turn and see what it is.

There standing just behind him is a giant dark figure. He hears a deep breathing sound from it. His heart beat against his chest. He could feel it beating all the way up into his throat. His eyes adjusted to the darkness even more, it was just enough so that he could make out the shape of the dark figure, it was in the shape of a giant black wolf!
